Following a discussion on procedures for <br />accepttng partial payments on delinquent taxes, Commissioner <br />Osborn made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Shepherd fhat <br />the City Attorney be instructed to prepare an ordinance per- <br />mttttng the issuance of a Redemptton Receipt by the year, except <br />that the oldest year must be paid first. No receipt will be <br />tssued for a partial year, and no partial payment of delinquent <br />taxes whatsoever will be accepted after suit is filed. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />5. An ordinance, presented to the Commission, by <br />Kiibler and Kiibler, abandoning and closing a; portion ®f "A" <br />Street between 18th and 19th Streets, and between Block No. 691 <br />and Block No. 714, and vacating and closing a portton of the <br />sixteen (16) foot alley in Block 691,Commissioner Osborn made <br />a motion, seconded by Commissioner Shepherd, that the ordinance <br />be tabled until the portton pertaining to "A" Street be corrected <br />or clarified. Motion carried. <br /> <br />6. Mutton made by Commissioner Osborn, seconded by <br />Commissioner Baker, that the invoice received from the Utility <br />Supply Company, in the amount of four hundred ninety-seven dollars <br />• and ftfty-cents ($ 497.50) be approved for pt~yment. Motion carried. <br />~ ~ <br />7. Commissioner Shepherd made a rnotton seconded by <br />Commissioner Osborn, that Mrs. George Riley be permitted to use <br />the Norfh Side Recreation Building for a Day Care Nursery, through <br />December 10th, provided that the use of such building dtd not <br />interfere wtth other regular uses of the building.
