Pilkinton petitioned the City Commission <br />for re-zoning of Lots 13 through 16, Block 29, Town of La Porte, <br />from "C" Single Family Dwelling District to "E" Apartment <br />Butldtngs, Duplexes, and/or any other Multiple Owelltng District. <br />A letter from the Planning and Zoning Commission, recommending the <br />re-zoning was also presented. <br />Commissioner Baker made a motion, seconded by Commissioner <br />Osburn, fhat a publtc hearing to constder the re-zoning, be set <br />for Aprt1 22, 1963, 7:00 p. m., at the City Hail, and that notice of <br />such hearing be published in accordance with Ordinance No. 620. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />10.. Commissioner Stabs made a motion, seconded by <br />Commissioner Shepherd, that Fred Turner, be commissioned as <br />NtghtWatchman of Fairmont Park. Motion carried. <br /> <br />11. Commissioner Baker made a motion, seconded by <br />Commissioner Osburn, that the service contract on the billing <br />machine with Burroughs Corporation, be renewed for two hundred <br />thrity-three dollars, (~ 233.00). Motion carried. <br />i *** <br />12. Commissioner Shepherd made a motion, seconded <br />by Commissioner Baker, that the Swimming Pool be opened for <br />specfal parties, and on week-ends, beginntng with the month <br />of May; further, that the family rates becomes effective June 1, <br />1964.
