<br />Questions were asked by Mr. Isaac Gales and Mr. <br />Kenneth Baird, with no opposition being expressed. <br />The, Mayor then invited comments from any opposed <br />to the proposed amendment. No one spoke in opposition to <br />the amendment. <br />After all present had been given an opportunity <br />to be heard, Commissioner Baker made a motion, seconded by <br />Commissioner Shepherd, and carried, that the Public Hearing <br />be closed. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Shepherd, seconded <br />by Commissioner Baker, that Ordinance No. 620-E be pnssed <br />and approved. Motion carried. Caption as follows: <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CY?D/NANCE NO. 620, CHANGING BLOCK 82 <br />OF THE TOWN OF LA PCV?TE, IN THE C1TY OFLA PORTS, !N HARRIS <br />COUNTY, TEXAS, FROM ITS PRESENT PON/NG CLASS/FICATION TO BE <br />HENCEFORTH CLASSIFIED AS "E" APARTMENT BUILDINGS, DUPLEXES <br />AND/OR MULTIPLE DWELLING DISTRICT. <br /> <br />City Attorney C. L. Pitman presented a proposed <br />lease agreement with Cliff Nyde Flying Service, Inc. for <br />study. The Commission tabled the proposed lease for further <br />study, with a suggestion made that Mr. Hyde be invited to a <br />special meeting, February 14, 1964, for the purpose of dis- <br />cussing the lease. <br /> <br />There being no further business at hand, the meeting <br />was adjourned. <br />H.
