~ 2~ <br />• 5. Motion was made by Commissioner Osborn, seconded ORDINANCE N0. 704 <br />by Commissioner Baker, that Ordinance No. 704 be passed on first (REGULATING TRAFFIC <br />and final reading. Motion carried. Caption as follows: <br />AN ORDINANCE REGULATING TRAFFIC AT CERTAIN INTERSECTIONS ON <br />6TH STREET IN THE CITY LIMITS OF LA FORTE, TEXAS: FIXING A <br />MAXIMUM PENALTY OF ,~ 200.00; REPEALJNG ALL ORDINANCES IN <br />CONFLICT HEREWITH. <br />~ ~ <br />6. City Attorney C. L. Pitman presented a statement AUTHORIZATION TO <br />to the Commission for work on delinquent taxes, in the amount FAY STATEMENT F~40M <br />of five hundred ninety-two dollars and fifty cents, (~ 592.50). PITMAN FOR TAX !NORK <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Frank Baker, seconded by <br />Commissioner Osborn, authorizing payment of same. Motion <br />carried. <br />Mayor Pfeiffer requested the City Attorney to <br />prepare a detailed report on the progress of the Delinquent <br />Tax program, to be presented in the near future. Attorney <br />Pitman was also instructed to proceed with condemnation pro- <br />ceedings on Lots 95, 16, and 97, Block 267, La Porte and a <br />follow up on the Delinquent Tax Suit on Block 934, La Porte. <br />There being no further business at hand, the <br />meeting was adjourned. <br />I~ <br />~' <br />H.
