Pfeiffer, Commis- <br />sioners Frank Baker, Tom Osburn, W. A. Stabs, Jr., and <br />Russell Shepherd. <br />MEMBERS OF THE COMM/SSlON ABSENT: None <br />OTHER CITY OFF/C/ALS PRESENT: Special Legal Counsel Knox Askins <br />and Temporary City Clerk, Marilyn Kelley. . <br />VISTORS PRESENT: Ernest L. Brown, Commissioner Elect Lois Compton <br />PRESIDING: Mayor Pfeiffer. <br />+ + + <br />9. A canvass of the votes cast in the Municipal Election <br />held on Tuesday, April 27, 1965 was made. Commissioner <br />Stabs made a motton, seconded by Commissioner Osburn, <br />that Ordinance No. 792 be approved and passed on first <br />and final reading. <br />Caption as follows: <br />CAPT l ON <br />AN ORDINANCE DECLARING THE RESULTS OF THE REGULAR ELECTION <br />HELD IN THE CITY OF LA PORTS ON APRIL 27, 9965, FOR THE <br />ELECTION OF A CITY COMMISSIONER, I~SITION 9, AND A CITY <br />COMMISSIONER, POSITION 3. <br />+ + + <br />2. A canvass of the votes cast in the Bond Election held <br />on Tuesday, April 27, 9965 was made. Commissioner Osburn <br />made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Shepherd, That <br />Ordinance No. 793 be approved and passed on first and <br />final reading. <br />+ + + <br />3. Commissioner Osburn made a motion, seconded by Commissioner <br />Shepherd, that the Mayor be authorized to go to New York <br />at Moroney, Beissner & Company, Inc. expense, to work on <br />the City Bond Rating.
