A motion was made by Commissioner Osburn, seconded <br />by Commissioner Compton authorizing the City Clerk <br />to release to La Porte State Bank .6,000.00 of <br />' securities held by the City. Motion carried. <br />+ + + ' <br />70. Commissioner Shepherd made a motion, seconded by <br />Commissioner Osburn and carried that Resolution <br />No. 42 be passed on first and final reading. <br />CAPTION: <br />' A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE CLOS/NG OF A PORTION OF <br />POWELL ROAD AND A PORTION OF MIDDLE BAYOU TIMBER- <br />LA FORTE ROAD. <br />+ t + <br />77. A motion was made by Commtssioner Osburn and seconded <br />by Commissioner Stabs that upon receipt of Bond Funds <br />the City Clerk be authorized to pay Cummins, Reed & <br />Clements the Library and Civic Center portion of <br />their Statement f{9, and the Jail portion upon approval <br />of Commissioner Stabs. Motion carried. <br />• + + + <br />?2. Commissioner Compton made a motion, seconded by <br />Commissioner Shepherd and carried that the City <br />Clerk be authorized to pay Gulf Oil Corporation <br />,924.39.
