A motion was made by Cornmisstoner Boyle, and seconded by Commissioner <br />Shepherd, that Clayton Hall be employed as Janitor for the City Hall, <br />Civic Center, and Library, at the rate of $9.69 per hour. Commissioner Shepherd made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Boyle, <br />that the City Engineer be authorized to advertise for bids on two <br />dump trucks, bids to be received at 7:G0 P. M., November 7, 9966. <br />Motion carried. <br />+ + + <br />7. A motion was made by Commissioner Boyle, and seconded by Commissioner <br />Shepherd, that the City Engineer secure competitive bids on re-installing <br />fence around water tank ~3, repairing fence around water tank ,#/9, <br />repairing, relocating and installing new fence at well {~4. Motion <br />carried. <br />t + + <br />8. The City Engineer stated that the City needs a policy on the installation <br />of Fire Sprinkler Systems, 2" and larger. He recommended that the <br />installation be made at cost, no water meter required, and no monthly <br />charge made, provided that a back flow valve is instailed. <br />Commissioner Boyle made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Stabs, and <br />carried, that the policy, as recommended by the Engineer, be adopted. <br />+ + + <br />9.
