A motion was made by Commissioner Boyle, seconded by Commissioner <br />Shepherd and carried that Layne of Texas be authorized to do the <br />following work to waterwells: <br />Well No. 1 - Plug well. <br />Well No. 2 - Pull pump and motor and stack on site. <br />Plug ,just above screen. <br />vJeli No. 4 - Pick up well head and rotate in order to <br />connect with other tank. <br />+ + + <br />11. CommissionerShepherd made a motion, seconded by Commissioner <br />Boyle that the following accounts payable be approved for payment: <br />N. N. Wei r ,~ 198.60 <br />Texas Municipal League 265.00 <br />Machine Records, /nc. 180.50 <br />La Porte Insurance Agency 162.40 <br />Texas Crushed Stone 134.40 <br />Motion carried. <br />;~ + + + <br />12. A motion was made by Commissioner Boyle and seconded by <br />Commissioner Shepherd that the purchase of three 3" gate valves <br />from Mabry Foundry Company be approved. Motion canted. <br />+ + + <br />13. A motion was made by Commiss{over Stabs and seconded by Commissioner <br />shepherd that Judge Counts be authorized to use the services of <br />C. L. Pitman when needed, at a rate of X25.00 a session. Motion <br />carried. <br />+ + + <br />14. Mr. C. L. Laird requested that the Boy Scout Troop 90 be allowed <br />the use of the old Library building for their meetings, and <br />presented a letter from the Masonic Lodge approving the continued <br />use of their property as the location. <br />Commissioner Stabs made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Shepherd <br />Chet the Boy Scouts Troop 90 be allowed to use the building for <br />thetr meetings, provided They will maintain the building.
