Boyle, and Russell <br />Shepherd. ~~ ~ <br />MEMBERS OF THE COMMISSION ABSENT: None <br />' OTHER CITY OFFICIALS PRESENT: City Attorney Knox W. Ask ins, City Engineer <br />N. Carlos Smifh, and City Clerk Marilyn Kelley. <br />PRESlO1NG: Mayor Pfeiffer. <br />+ + + <br />1. The minutes of the regular meeting of December 5, 1966, were <br />amended to read: <br />/tem No. 4 - Virgil Calhoun instead of Virgil Cowan. <br />~ + + <br />2. Mayor Pfeiffer reported that Mr. Frank Carter of Happy Harbor <br />has indicated they are not pleased with the tax suit settlement <br />offered. The City Attorney recommended that the City uphold <br />their proposal as subm{tied. <br />+ + + <br />3. The following bids were received for tfie painting of Water <br />Tank No. 3: <br />'. Mc Cune Paint Company $826.00 <br />Uphenour Paint Company 1,193.00 <br />Commissioner Compton made a motion, seconded by Commissioner <br />Shepherd that the City agree to assume one-third the cost of <br />the low bid. Motion carried. <br />+ + + <br />4. Mr. Kenneth Adams submitted a bid of X51.50 for demolishtng <br />the old Civic Center bui~Gding. <br />Commissioner Stabs made a motion, seconded by Commissioner <br />Boyle that the bid be award to Mr. Kenneth Adams for X51.50. <br />Motion carried. <br />•- t + + <br />
