6. The Commission discussed the proposed "Spenwick Place Municipal <br />Utility District". Action was tabled until we receive a request <br />for approval to form said District. <br />7. A motion was made by Commissioner Stabs, and seconded by <br />Commissioner Shepherd and carried, that the following accounts <br />payable be approved: <br />Houston Natural Gas Corp. 761.34 <br />Gulf Oil Corporation 124.39 <br />Gulf Oil Corporation 124.39 <br />Joe Camp Motors 4,199.58 <br />8. Commissioner Compton made a motion, seconded by Commissioner <br />Shepherd, that the purchase of 200 tons of stone @ 2.72, <br />from Texas Crushed Stone Company, be approved. Motion carried. <br />9. A motion was made by Commissioner Stabs, and seconded by Commissioner <br />Compton, that Taxi Permit No. 18, La Porte Taxi Company, for the <br />year of 1967, be approved. Motion carried. <br />10. Commissioner Compton made a motion, seconded by Commissioner <br />Stabs, that thepurchase of 16 used Neo-Flasher units, @ 12.50, <br />FOB La Porte, be approved. Motion carried. <br />11. The City tngineer presented a rough estimate of the cost of <br />installing water and sewer lines to Block 124, La Porte. <br />Sewer Lines $1,742.00 <br />Water Lines 7,310.00 <br />Meter 275.00 <br />$9,327.00 <br />Commissioner Boyle made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Stabs, <br />the the City assume one-half the cost of the installation, with <br />the developer assuming the other one-half. Motion carried. <br />
