• • <br />Commissioner Stabs made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Shepherd, <br />that fhe City receive bids for the sale of the Old Library building, <br />at 7;00 P.t~., May ?, ?967. Further that the City reserve the right <br />to reject any or ail bids. Motion carried. <br />+ + + <br />4. Mr, Robert Stephens reported that it was not going to be as <br />difficult as he had thought, for the City to provide extended <br />non-owned insurance coverage for the employees. Qnly eight employees <br />do not have liability insurance at this time. Mr. Stephens was <br />instructed to contact these employees and work out a solution. <br />+ + + <br />5. Commissioner Stabs made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Shepherd, <br />and carried that Resolution No. 67- be passed on first tnd final <br />reading. (See Exhibit No. 3). <br />CAPTION: <br />A RESOLUTION GRANTING A QUIT CLAIM ON THE WEST ?6' OF S'LOCK ??58, <br />TOV'v`N OF LA PQRTE. <br />+ + + <br />6. A motion was made by Commissioner Compton, seconded by Commissioner <br />Stabs and carried, that the Mayor be authorized to execute the <br />John Kraak contract as attached. (See Exhibit No. 4). <br />+ + + <br />7. The City Attorney stated that Lots 2?, 22, 23, 24, Block ?9, Town <br />of La Forte were erroneously included in a ?923 Tax Suit and he <br />recommended that that the City issue a Quit Claim Deed on same. <br />Commissioner Boyle made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Stabs, <br />that a Quit Claim Deed be approved. Motion carried. <br />+ + + <br />8. A motion was made by Commissioner Shepherd, seconded by Commissioner <br />Boyle that Swfmming Pool Supply and Service, /nc, be authorized to <br />clean the swimming pool and restore it to its original condition, <br />cost not to exceed ;.200.00 to X250.00. Motion carried. <br />+ + + <br />9. Commmissioner Boyle made a mottos, seconded by Commissioner Shepherd, <br />that Bayshore Air Conditioning be authorized to convert a refrigerator <br />to an incubator, to be used in the -~'ater and Sewer Lab. Motion <br />carried. (Cost ,~?75.00). <br />+ + + <br />
