The City Atforney gave a detailed report of the facts concerning <br />ambulance problems. <br />Commissioner Stabs stated thaf after considerable study on his <br />part, that he recommends that take bids for private ambulance <br />service and also for the purchase of a station wagon. <br />A motion wczs made by Commissioner Stabs, seconded by Commissioner <br />Compton that the City receive bids at 7:00 P.M., April 97, 9967, <br />for a contract agreement for private ambulance service, the City <br />reserving the right to reject any or aZl bids. Motion carried. <br />Commissioner Stairs made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Boyle, <br />that bids for the purchase of a 9967 Station Wagon, 4 Door, be <br />received at 7:00 P. M., Aprit 97, 9967. Motion carried. <br />+ + + <br />99. A special meeting was called for 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, April 5, <br />to meet with the Cities of Lomax, Morgan's Point, and Shoreacres, <br />to further discuss the ambulance problems. The City Clerk was <br />instructed to contact the other Cities. <br />+ + + <br />20. Commissioner Compton made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Stabs <br />that the purchase of 300' of 9 9/2" fire hose and 200' of 2 9/2" <br />fire hose be authorized. Motion carried. <br />+ + + <br />29. A motion was made by Commissioner Boyle, seconded by Commissioner <br />Shepherd that the purchase of a 44" Case lawn mower be authorized. <br />Cost - X825.00.
