The City Clerk stated that Mr. Bruce Angel has requested that <br />Lcz Porte Outlots 72 thru 75, and 83 thru 89, be rezoned from <br />Class "A" Residential to Class "C" Commercial. She further <br />stated, that the Planning and Zoning Corranission has referred <br />the request to the City Commission, as there has been a previous <br />Zoning Hearing. <br />Mr. Frank Boyle stated that there are several tracts in that <br />area that should be rezoned, and requested thaf La Porte Blocks <br />733 and 734 be included. <br />The City Attorney advised the Commission, that the property on <br />which a previous hearing has been held, can be handled at thts <br />time, but thaf the other request should come to the Commission <br />through the Planning and Zoning Commission, and a hearing be <br />held. <br />Commissioner Shepherd made a motion, seconded by Commissioner <br />Stabs, that La Porte Outlats 72 thru 72, and 83 thru 89, and <br />Blocks 733 and 734 be rezoned from Class "A" Residential to <br />Class "B" Commercial. Motion carried. <br />+ + + <br />6. A special meefing was called for Monday, April 24, at 7:00 P. M., <br />to discuss the baseball programs. <br />+ + + <br />7. The Cify Clerk requested approval of the form letter to be used <br />as the first weed cutting notice. (See Exhibtt No. 4). A motion <br />was made by Commissioner Compton, and seconded by Commissioner <br />Shepherd, that the letter be approved as proposed. Motion carried. <br />+ + + <br />8. Commissioner Boyle made a motion, seconded by Commissioner <br />Shepherd and carried, that Resolution No. 67-61 be approved. <br />CAPTION: <br />A RE.~OLUTION AUTHORJZING THE ACQUlS/T/ON OF AlRPCRT CLEAR-ZONE <br />EASMENTS. <br />+ + + <br />9. A motion was made by Commissioner Boyle, and seconded by Commissioner <br />Compton, that the required Cand coverage for Muti-Dwellings or <br />Apartments not exceed 40~, that a minimum of two parking spaces <br />per apartment be required, and that tenative approval of the Space <br />City Development Company apartments be given.
