A motion was made by ConrnisstonerCompton, seconded by <br />Commissioner Boyle that the glass at the Civic Center be <br />replaced and that two guard bars be installed across the <br />entire front. Motion carried. <br />+ + + <br />9. The City Attorney gave a report on the progress of Fairmont <br />Park, Section #3. After considerable discussion, Commissioner <br />Boyle made a motion, seconded by Conmissioner Burgtn, that <br />the City Attorney prepare an amendment to the Sub-Division <br />Ordinance, allowtng a cash security in-lieu of a bond require- <br />ment. The City Engineer was requested to prepare an <br />estimate of cost. <br />+ + + <br />99. Commissioner Stabs made a motion, seconded by Commissioner <br />Compton that bids for the sale of the 9928 Ladder Truck <br />and other surplus ttems be received at 7:00 F.M., August 7, <br />9967.
