Commissioner Compton made a motion, seconded by Commissioner <br />Burgin, that purchase order no. 6552, to Jay Marks Chevrolet, <br />in the amount of .230.65, for gcxrbage truck repairs, be approved. <br />Motion carried. <br />+ + + <br />3. Commissioner Stabs reported that the following bids for the <br />purchase of a 1968 Police Car were received: <br />Joe Camp Ford <br />Jay Marks Chevrolet <br />$2,973.49 <br />2,873.62 <br />He further stated that he could get no commitment as to the <br />delivery date. He stated that Jay Marks has located a Belair <br />4 Door Sedan, X2,993.00. He recommended that he be authorized <br />to purchase this car or one at less price, if one can be located. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Stabs, seconded by Commisstoner <br />Compton and carried, that the purchase of the car at X2,993.00 <br />or one at less price if possible, be approved. Motion carried. <br />+ + + <br />4. Commissioner Con>pton advised that Commission that the Neighborhood <br />Centers Board are plannfng to handle the Baseball program locally <br />and deposit all funds in a local bank. <br />Commissioner Boyle made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Burgin, <br />that the Commission concur with the handling of the Baseball <br />Program.
