Commissioner Compton made a motion, seconded by Commissioner <br />Crofoot, that the Commission accept the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission recommendation, and hold a public hearing at 7:00 P.M., <br />June 24, 1968, to consider the possible rezoning of Lots 1 thru <br />29, and 39 and 40, Block 204, Town of La Porte from P2 Pesidential <br />to Commercial, for Nursing Home use only. (See Exhibit No. 4). <br />Motion carried. <br />11. A motion was made by Commissioner Crofoot, seconded by Commissioner <br />Boyle, and carried, that Dewey Walls be given a 60 day temporary <br />permit for the building on Lots 3 thru 8, Block 201, Town of <br />La Porte. (See Exhibit No. 5). Motion carried. <br />12. Commissioner Boyle made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Crofoot <br />and carried, that the following accounts payable be approved: <br />Trezevant and Cochran 286.93 <br />W. C. DuBose 307.39 <br />White Supply Company 183.56 <br />Rockwell Mfg. Company 304.35 <br />Mabry Foundry Company 106.30 <br />Mabry Foundry Company 1,125.68 <br />Humble Oil & Refining Co. 600.82 <br />13. A motion was made by Commissioner Boyle, seconded by Commissioner <br />Compton, and carried, that the Commission ratify Commissioner <br />Burgin's action in approving Gulf Bitulithic Company Charge <br />Order No.3 and Estimate No. 4. Motion carried. <br />14. Commissioner Compton made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Boyle, <br />that the Mayor and City Clerk be authorized to sign the final <br />plat of Brookglen Section 1. !Motion carried. <br />15. A motion was made by Commissioner Boyle, seconded by Commissioner <br />Crofoot, that the City Engineer be authorized to hire W. C. DuBose <br />to lay the "F" Street water line at $1.00 of foot. Motion carried. <br />
