• • ~ ~/ <br />5. Commissioner Burgin made a motion, seconded by Commissioner <br />Boyle, that Les West Construction Company, Estimate No. 2, <br />X2,162.02, be approved for payment. Mottos carried. <br />+ + + <br />6. The City Clerk was requested to advise Mrs. Pat Martin, be letter, <br />that the deadline for paying for Lot 6, Block 33, Town of La Porte, <br />has been extended until 5:00 P.M., July 22, 1968, and if the purchase <br />is not completed, the lot will be re-advertised for bids. <br />+ + + <br />7. A motion was made by Commissioner Crofoot, seconded by Commissioner <br />Burgin, that the Voluntary Fire Department Zoning Nearing, and <br />Alley Closing fees on Block 615, Town of La Porte, be waived. <br />Motion carried. <br />+ + + <br />8. A motion was made by Commissioner Burgin, and seconded by <br />Commissioner Boyle, that the 1968-69 Budget Hearing be held <br />at 7:00 P.M., August 5, 1968. Motion carried. <br />+ + + <br />9. Commissioner Crofoot made a motion, seconded by Commissioner <br />Burgin, that $900.00 for Fire School be authorized. Motion <br />carried. <br />+ + + <br />10. A motion was made by Commissioner Crofoot, and seconded by <br />Commissioner Boyle, that the authorization to buy two hand <br />recuscitators be rescinded, and that the purchase of one <br />Emergikit resuscitator at $295.00, and one hand resuscitator <br />at approximately $59.00, be approved. Motion carried. <br />+ + + <br />11. The Cify Clerk stated that the Trawlers Insurance Company <br />has paid all but ,299.77 of the medical bill covering Clifford <br />Ellis, due to an on-job accident. <br />Commissioner Burgin made a motion, seconded by Commissioner <br />Crofoot, that the City pay the .299.77, and that the proper <br />release be obtained. Motion carried. <br />+ + + <br />12. A motion was made by Commissioner Burgin, and seconded by <br />Commissioner Boyle, that the purchase of 55 gallons of <br />Larvacide, from Barnes Products Company, X151.25, be approvE:~d. <br />Motion carried. <br />+ + + <br />
