Thomas, Charles D. Boyle, H.Gould Crofoot and Bobby J. Burgin. MEMBERS OF THE COMMISSION ABSENT: None. OTHER CITY OFFICIALS PRESENT: P.V. Werner, Ctty Administrator, Virginia Cline, Cify Clerk and Robert Cline, Director of PubZtc Works. PRESIDING: Mayor Pfeiffer. + + + 1. Motion was made by Commissioner Crofoot, seconded by Commissioner Ord. 843 Thomas that Ordinance No. 843 be adopted as read. The motion dopted. carried by the following vote: AYES: Commissioners Thomas, Crofoot and Boyle. Nays: Commissioner Burgin. CAPTION: AN ORDINANCE DISANNEXING CERTAIN TERRITORY HERETOFORE ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF LA PORTS; CONTAINING A SAVINGS CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. + + + 3. Motion was made by Commissioner Boyle, seconded by Commissioner Thomas thaf Ordinance No. 844 be adopted as read. Motion carried by the following vote: AYES: Commissioners Boyle, Thomas Burgin and Crofoot. NAYS: None. CAPTION: AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING AND MAKING APPLICABLE TO THE CdTY OF LA PORTS THE PROVISIONS OF STATE LAW RELATING TO WORKMEN'S COMPENSATION INSURANCE FOR MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES; PROVIDING THAT THE CITY OF LAf~RTE SHALL BE SELF-INSURING; PROVIDING THAT SAID WORKMEN'S CQMPENSATION INSURANCE SHALL BE APPLICABLE TO ALL EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF LA PORTS; 844 o ted. PROVIDING FOR NOTICES OF SUCH ACTION TO BE GIVEN;
