Mayor Pfeiffer read a letter from Mr. L. R. Rigby <br />requesting permission to place a house-trailer at <br />Colonial Drive-In Theatre, 816 Crest Lane, La Porte. <br />Mayor Pfeiffer stated that in compliance with City <br />Ordinance No. 780, the request would be denied. <br /> <br />10. Mr. Werner presented a tabulation of bids received <br />in hip office on February 16, 1970 for one year's <br />supply of Gasoline Diesel Fuel, Lubricating Oils; <br />Cleaning Solvent, ~erosene and Various Greases. <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Boyle, seconded by <br />Commissioner Thomas that the low bid from Gulf Oil <br />Company be accepted. Motion carried by the following <br />vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Thomas,Boyle,Burgin, and Crofoot. <br />11. Mrs. Lois Compton appeared before the Commission <br />and. suggested that members o~ the Planning ~.nd <br />Zoning Commission be contacted to see if they want <br />to continue serving on the Commission. Mrs. Compton <br />stated that with the annexed areas there would be <br />quite a bit of work for the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission and it was important that members attend <br />the meetings. <br />Mayor Pfeiffer asked Mr. Werner to contact members <br />of the Planning and Zoning Commission to see if they <br />can continue to serve on the Commission and if not <br />new members would be appointed. <br />THERE BEING NO FURTI?rR BUSINESS AT <br />HAND, THE MEETING j~TAS ADJOURNED. <br />~T.P.Pfeiffe , or <br />
