Motion carried by the following <br />vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Thomas,Boyle,Burgin,and Crofoot. <br />NAYS: None. <br />CAPTION: <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 780, THE CITY OF LAPORTE <br />ZONING ORDINANCE, BY CHANGING THE DEFINITION OF "FRONT LOT <br />LINE" AS TO PROPERTY FRONTING ON BAYSHORE DRIVE; AND PROVID- <br />ING AN EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Crofoot, seconded by <br />Commissioner Boyle that Outlot 30, Nebraska Syndicate, <br />be re-zoned from R-1 Residential to Mobile Home Park <br />and that Mr. Askins be authorized to prepare an Ordinance <br />to that effect.Motion carried by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Thomas, Boyle,Burgin, and Crofoot. <br />NAYS: None. <br />Mayor Pfeiffer stated there existed an emergency that <br />necessitated Commission action at this time. <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Crofoot, seconded by <br />Commissioner Boyle that Mr. Askins be authorized to make <br />a firm offer of $2,500 to Mrs. Donna Storms, Independent <br />Executrix of the Estate of William D. Kennedy, for the <br />purchase of Bayshore Water Company, such offer to remain <br />in effect until 4:00 P.M. Friday, April 3, 1970. If the <br />offer is not accepted Mr. Askins is authorized to institute <br />injunction proceedings to compel Bayshore Water Company <br />to continue operation in its service area.
