Mr. Werner stated the Overnight Street Sweeping <br />Service had agreed to dump the debris for an <br />additional ~fi10 per sweeping. <br />Mr. Askins was authorized to proceed with a contract <br />containing a thirty (30) day cancellation clause with <br />Overnight Street Sweeping Service. <br />+ + + <br />5. Motion by Commissioner Thomas, seconded by <br />Commissioner Kibodeaux that the ~'layor be <br />authorized to sign, and the City Clerk to attest <br />the service contracts with Morgan's Point and <br />Shoreacres. Motion carried by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Thomas,Kibodeaux, Burgin,and <br />Crofoot. <br />NAYS: None. <br />+ + + <br />6. Mr. Eugene Hovey appeared before the Commission and <br />gave a report on the required monthly financial <br />statement. He stated that a financial report will <br />be available by the second meeting of the month and <br />that each department head will also be furnished with <br />a breakdown of their departments expenditures. <br />Commissioner Thomas recommended that Mr. Hovey present <br />a written contract for his services to the Commission. <br />+ + + <br />~. Motion by Commissioner Burgin, seconded by <br />Commissioner Crofoot that Mr. Askins be authorized <br />to send letters to all residents who are delinquent <br />in paying paving assessments, giving them 30 days <br />to make payment before legal action is taken.
