Motion by Comm. Crofoot, seconded by Comm. Thomas <br />to deny Mrs. L. W. Knupple's request to amend the <br />zoning ordinance to allow fences around front yards <br />and since Mrs. Knupple was in violation of the <br />ordinance, the fence around her front yard would <br />have to be removed. Motion carried by the follow- <br />ing vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Thomas, Kibodeaux, Sampson and <br />Crofoot. <br />NAYS: None. <br />+ + + <br />4. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Tyler addressed the Commission <br />in regards to enforcement of the livestock ord- <br />inance. After a brief discussion the City Attorney <br />• was asked to prepare an opinion as to the enforce- <br />ment of the ordinance and the Chief of Police was <br />asked to look into the matter. <br />+ + + <br />5. Motion by Comm. Crofoot, seconded by Comm. Thomas <br />to adopt Ordinance No. 880 as read. Motion carried <br />by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Thomas, Kibodeaux, Sampson and <br />Crofoot. <br />NAYS: None. <br />CAPTION: <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO CONVEY AN <br />EASEMENT OUT OF AN ALLEYWAY LOCATED IN BLOCK <br />TWENTY- TWO (22) OF BAYFRONT ADDITION TO THE CITY <br />OF LA PORTE, TEXAS. <br />+ + + <br />6.
