<br />• • <br />Regular Meeting 3/20/72 - continued <br />• <br />by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Thomas, Kibodeaux, Sampson <br />and Crofoot. <br />NAYS: None. <br />CAPTION: <br />AN ORDINANCE APPOINTING <br />I,A PORTE HOUSING BOARD <br />DATE HEREOF. <br />+ + <br />r1 <br />U <br />THE MEMBERS OF THE CITY OF <br />AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE <br /> <br />5. Johnny Busch, Baytown Engineering, addressed the <br />Commission in regards to advertizing for bids for <br />the eight inch water line along S. Broadway to <br />"S" Street to provide service to the O'Meara-Rush <br />development. <br />Mayor Smith execused himself from the meeting <br />during this discussion and Mayor Pro-Tem Crofoot <br />presided. <br />Motion by Comm. Kibodeaux, seconded by Comm. Thomas <br />to advertize for bids to be received April 12, 1972 <br />at 4:30 P.M. for the installation of an eight inch <br />water line along S. Broadway to "S" Street. Motion <br />carried by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Thomas, Kibodeaux and Sampson. <br />NAYS: None. <br />+ + + <br />6. Mr. Busch reported that Mayor Smith, Mr. Brown <br />and himself had attended a meeting with the <br />Texas Water Quality Board in Austin on March 15th. <br />He stated that Za Porte had been granted an extension <br />in complying with TWQB Order 69-9A until such time <br />as a study on the Clear Creek watershed is completed, <br />which is expected to be sometime in mid-June. <br />+ + + <br /> <br />
