<br />Regular Meeting 6/5/72 - continued <br />C: <br />5. Motion by Comm. Kibodeaux, seconded by <br />Comm. Boyle to approve the service contract <br />with Morgans Point. Motion carried by the <br />following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Christensen, Kibodeaux, <br />Sampson and Boyle. <br />NAYS: None. <br />+ + + <br />6. Johnny Busch, Baytown Engineering, addressed <br />the Commission in regards to the bids received <br />on May 19, 1972 for water and sewer line <br />extension systems in Fairmont Park~West. <br />Mr. Busch stated the response to the bidding <br />was very good with thirteen (13) bids being <br />received. He presented a tabulation of the <br />bids to the Commission and recommended the <br />low bidder of Hollico Inc., for X31,209.80. <br />• Motion by Comm. Kibodeaux, seconded by <br />Comm. Christensen to accept the bids as <br />presented. Motion carried by the following <br />vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Christensen, Kibodeaux, <br />Sampson and Boyle. <br />NAYS: None. <br />Motion by Comm. Kibodeaux, seconded by <br />Comm. Boyle to award the bid to Hollico <br />and that the Mayor be authorized to sign <br />the contract with Hollico at such time <br />that Mr. Robroy Carroll deposits one-half <br />(1/2) of construction and engineering fees <br />with the City of La Porte. Motion carried <br />by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Christensen, Kibodeaux, <br />Sampson and Boyle. <br />NAYS: None. <br />+ + + <br />3 <br />• 7. Motion by Comm.
