• <br />Regular Meeting 11/20/72 - continued <br />• <br />2. Motion by Comm. Kibodeuax, seconded by Comm. Minutes of <br />Boyle to approve the minutes of the previous Previous <br />meeting of November 6, 1972 as presented. Meeting <br />Motion carried by the following vote: Approved <br />AYES: Commissioners Christensen, Kibodeaux, <br />Sampson and Boyle. <br />NAYS: None. <br />+ + + <br />3. Motion by Comm. Boyle, seconded by Comm. Accounts <br />Sampson to approve the accounts payable Payable <br />as presented, a copy of which is attached Approved <br />to and made a part of these minutes. Motion <br />carried by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Christensen, Kibodeaux, <br />Sampson and Boyle. <br />NAYS: None. <br />• + + + <br />4. Motion by Comm. Boyle, seconded by Comm. Clothing <br />Sampson that Detective Green be allowed Allowance <br />$300 a year clothing allowance. Motion For Det. <br />was defeated by the following vote : Green voted <br />down <br />AYES: Commissioners Sampson and Boyle. <br />NAYS: Commissioners Christensen, Kibodeaux, <br />and Mayor Thomas. <br />In the discussion that followed, Comm. <br />Christensen and Mayor Thomas stated they were <br />not against Det. Green receiving a clothing <br />allowance, but felt that he should receive <br />the same amount allowed the uniformed men, <br />which is about $100 a year. <br />Comm. Boyle stated that amount was not <br />enough and he felt more should be allowed. <br />Mayor Thomas stated this could be discussed <br />in a work shop and Comm. Christensen agreed <br />• that it be discussed at the next work shop <br />meeting of November 30, 1972. <br />+ + + <br />
