• <br />Regular Meeting 2/22/73 - continued <br />• Mayor Thomas stated the Commission proposed to <br />use this. money to construct water and sewer <br />extensions to an area north of Main Street, <br />along Highway 146 to the Oak Park Trailer <br />Park and that service probably could be <br />extended to most of the Northside by <br />supplementing the costs with other city funds. <br />Mayor Thomas asked if there was anyone present <br />to speak against the proposed expenditure of <br />funds and there being none, asked if anyone <br />wished to speak in favor of the proposed <br />expenditure. <br />Mrs. Lois Compton and Mr. R. E. Thrower <br />both spoke in favor of the Commission's <br />plans for the expenditure of the funds. <br />Mayor Thomas asked if there were any further <br />comments, and there being none, declared the' <br />public hearing closed. <br />Motion by Comm. Kibodeaux, seconded by Comm. <br />Christensen to approve the expenditure of <br />• the Federal Revenue Sharing Funds as set forth <br />in the public hearing. Motion carried by the <br />following vote. <br />AYES: Commissioners Christensen, Kibodeaux, <br />Sampson and Boyle. <br />NAYS: None. <br />+ + + <br />2. Motion by Comm.
