• Regular Meeting 2/22/73 - continued • Mayor Thomas stated the Commission proposed to use this. money to construct water and sewer extensions to an area north of Main Street, along Highway 146 to the Oak Park Trailer Park and that service probably could be extended to most of the Northside by supplementing the costs with other city funds. Mayor Thomas asked if there was anyone present to speak against the proposed expenditure of funds and there being none, asked if anyone wished to speak in favor of the proposed expenditure. Mrs. Lois Compton and Mr. R. E. Thrower both spoke in favor of the Commission's plans for the expenditure of the funds. Mayor Thomas asked if there were any further comments, and there being none, declared the' public hearing closed. Motion by Comm. Kibodeaux, seconded by Comm. Christensen to approve the expenditure of • the Federal Revenue Sharing Funds as set forth in the public hearing. Motion carried by the following vote. AYES: Commissioners Christensen, Kibodeaux, Sampson and Boyle. NAYS: None. + + + 2. Motion by Comm. Kibodeaux, seconded by Comm. Christensen to postpone the Public Hearing to rezone lots 11,12,13 & 14 in Block 1373 from Residential to Commercial until the next meeting when a quorum of the Planning and Zoning Commission could be present.
