Mr. Ed Hickman, Safti-Glo Signs, addressed the Safty signs <br />Commission in regards to the City participating approved <br />in a safty sign program. He stated the Bayshore <br />National Bank would purchase twenty-five (25) of <br />the signs, which he displayed, and explained the <br />signs were designed for the safety of children. <br />He stated the only cost to the City would be the <br />installation of the signs. <br />Motion by Comm. Kibodeaux, seconded by Comm. <br />Boyle that the Chief of Police and the Director <br />of Public Works be authorized to approve the <br />program and the installation of the signs. <br />• Motion carried by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Christensen, Kibodeaux, <br />Sampson and Boyle. <br />NAYS: None. <br />+ + + <br />4. Bids for water <br />Sampson to approve advertising for and accepting and sewer lines <br />bids on April 26, 1973 for water and sewer to Northside <br />extensions to the Northside. Christensen, seconded by Comm. Bid awarded for <br />• Kibodeaux to ratify awarding the bid for the fence around <br />Mini-Bike Park fence to the lowest bidder, Wolfe Mini-Bike Park <br />Construction Company in the amount of $5,755.60. <br />
