Price, seconded by Comm. <br />Christensen to approve the installation of <br />the four additional street lights on Carlow <br />and Belfast Streets, Section 3, Fairmont <br />Park. Motion carried by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Christensen, Kibodeaux, <br />Price and Boyle. <br />NAYS: None. <br />+ + + <br />10. Motion by Comm. Christensen, seconded by Comm. <br />Kibodeaux to approve the final payment in the <br />amount of $2,145.60 to Wolfe Construction Company <br />for work completed on the Central Park. Motion <br />carried by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Christensen, Kibodeaux, <br />Price and Boyle. <br />NAYS: None. <br /> <br />+ + + <br />11. A discussion was held regarding Mr. George Sharp,Jr's <br />house being eight foot in the right-of-way of the <br />north line of West "J" Street. Mayor Thomas read <br />a letter from the City to Mr. Sharp pertaining to <br />the eight inch water line that is being installed <br />along West "J" and which had to be routed around <br />Mr. Sharp's house. Mayor Thomas stated this matter <br />had been discussed in work shop and the letter <br />was written to ask Mr. Sharp's cooperation in <br />releasing the City from damages since the line <br />would be so close to his house. A copy of the <br />letter is attached to and made a part of these <br />minutes. <br />Mr. Sharp stated he could not sign the letter at <br />this time, and in view of the fact, that the house <br />had been built in 1907 and this was the first time <br />anyone had said the house was in the right-of-way, <br />he would like to have more time to determine if <br />a mistake had been made. <br />Final payment <br />to Wolfe Cons <br />for Central <br />Park work <br />Geo.Sharp,Jr <br />house in <br />right-of-way <br />of West "J" <br /> <br />
