<br /> <br />• <br />Regular Meeting 1/7/74 - continued <br />Motion by Comm. Kibodeaux, seconded by Comm. <br />Price to accept the bids for tabulation by <br />the Engineer, with the contract to be awarded <br />at the next regular meeting of January 21, 1974. <br />Motion carried by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Christensen, Kibodeaux, <br />Price and Boyle. <br />NAYS: None. <br />+ + + <br />• <br />2. Mr. Busch read the bids received for the <br />construction of water mains and appurtenances <br />along Catlett Lane, State Highway Spur 501 <br />South and Vicinity; and construction of a <br />sanitary sewer along Brownell Avenue. They <br />were as follows: <br />1. R. T. Bishop $111,848.30 <br />2. McKey Construction $ 94,071.00 <br />3. A. C. Construction $143,442.00 <br />Motion by Comm. Kibodeaux, seconded by Comm. <br />Price to accept the bids for tabulation by <br />the Engineer, with the contract to be awarded <br />at the next regular meeting of January 21, 1974. <br />Motion carried by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Christensen, Kibodeaux, <br />Price and Boyle. <br />NAYS: None. <br />+ + + <br />3. The City Clerk stated there were no bids received <br />for the two (2) dump trucks. <br />Mayor Thomas recommended that more dealers be <br />contacted and since the bids had been properly <br />advertised, the City could take bids from any- <br />one that would bid. <br />Motion by Comm. Price, seconded by Comm. <br />• <br />
