3 ~ f <br />• Regular Meeting 2/21/74 - continued <br />The meeting of the City Commission was recessed <br />while the Planning & Zoning Commission met on <br />the requests for rezoning. <br />Mayor Thomas called the meeting to order and <br />read the Planning and Zoning Commission's <br />recommendation to approve the rezoning of <br />Block one (1) Nebraska Syndicate, from Mobile <br />Home Park to Commercial and Blocks 432 and <br />980 from Residential to Commercial. <br />Motion by Comm. Kibodeaux, seconded by Comm. <br />Boyle to approve the rezoning of Block One, <br />Nebraska Syndicate, from Mobile Home Park to <br />Commercial. Motion carried by the following <br />vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Christensen, Kibodeaux, <br />Price and Boyle. <br />NAYS: None. <br />• Motion by Comm. Price, seconded by Comm. Boyle <br />to approve the rezoning of Blocks 432 and 980 <br />from Residential to Commercial. Motion failed <br />by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners <br />NAYS: Commissioners <br />Mayor Thomas. <br /> <br />Price and Boyle. <br />Christensen, Kibodeaux and <br />+ + <br />3. A discussion was held with Mr. Reed of Reed and <br />Clements, Architects, for the proposed addition <br />to the Library Building. <br />Mr. Reed stated his firm would meet with the <br />Library Board and the Commission to determine <br />the needs and prepare the basic design for an <br />estimated cost of $750.00.
