Mayor Thomas read a letter from the La Porte <br />Volunteer Fire Department in which they stated <br />that they did not wish to undertake fire <br />protection for the Port of Houston facilities <br />at Barbours Cut in Morgan's Point. He stated <br />he had written Mr. C. E. Bullock of the Port <br />of Houston Authority advising them of the <br />Department's decision. He also read a letter <br />written to Mayor Sutherland stating the contract <br />with the City of Morgan's Point would be renego- <br />tiated. <br />+ + + <br /> <br />19. Motion by Comm.
