Christensen to approve the minutes of the special meeting of April 11, 1974, the regular meeting of April 15, 1974 and the special meeting of April 27, 1974 as presented. Motion carried by the following vote: AYES: Commissioners Christensen, Kibodeaux, Price and Boyle. NAYS: None. Minutes of previous meetings approvr~_ as presented. + + + 5. Motion by Comm. Christensen, seconded by Comm. Accounts payable Kibodeaux to approve the accounts payable as approved presented, a copy of which is attached to and made a part of these minutes. Mayor Thomas welcomed the many visitors present Visitors WelcnmP. and asked if there was anyone wishing to address the Commission. Mr. J. H. Smith, Jr., 711 North 12th Street, Jim Smith addressed the Commission in regards to questions Commissioner Price serving on the City Comm. Price's Commission and also being president of the right to serve Fairmont Park Homes Association. Mr. Smith on city commissi~ stated the question had arisen several times in recent months, as to the City Charter not being complied with since the Homes Association does have a contract with the City for garbage service. He stated that it was only fair to the citizens and Mr. Price that the question of Mr. Price's qualifications be settled. He asked the Commission to have the City Attorney give a legal opinion on Mr. Price's qualifications • to determine if he was in violation of the Charter.
