City Attorney Knox Askins reported to the <br />Commission that the opinion of elegibility <br />of Mr. Price serving on the Commission would <br />be ready for the next regular meeting. <br />+ + + <br />14. Johnnie Busch, City Engineer, reported to the <br />Commission that the meeting in Austin with <br />the Texas Water Quality Board concerning a <br />Regional Sewage Plant, had been postponed. <br />+ + + <br />c: <br />15. Motion by Commissioner Price, seconded by <br />Commissioner Kibodeaux to adjourn into <br />Executive Session. Motion carried by the <br />following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Christensen, Kibodeaux, <br />Price and Boyle. <br />NAYS: None. <br />+ + + <br />16. Upon returning from the Executive Session, <br />Mrs. Joyce Smith and Mrs. Roberts of the <br />1000 Block of South Third Street, addressed <br />the Commission concerning drainage problems. <br />Commissioner Price and Director of Public <br />Works Robert Cline are to take a look at the <br />situation. <br />+ + + <br />• <br />17. Fire Chief Jack Oliphant formally presented <br />the new Fire Chief Joe Sease to the Commission. <br />Chief Oliphant expressed his gratitude to the <br />Commission for their cooperation, and explained• <br />that he had other pressing matters and could <br />not devote the time necessary to do a satis- <br />factory job. <br />+ + + <br />
