<br />• Regular Meeting - 8/19/74 - Continued 9 <br />18. CORRESPONDENCE (CONTINUED) <br />Motion by Commissioner Price, seconded by Commissioner <br />Kibodeaux to authorize the Mayor to send this letter <br />and copy of notice of application; a copy of which is <br />attached and made a part of these minutes. Motion carried <br />by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Christensen, Kibodeaux, <br />Price, and Boyle. <br />NAYS: None. <br />+ + + <br />19. DISCUSSION OF DEPARTMENT PROJECTS - (A) Mr. Jim Hutchison, <br />of Busch, Hutchison & Associates, stated that he planned <br />to have the Airport plans finished this week, and would <br />bring all the necessary papers to be signed on the first <br />stage. <br />• (B) Mayor Thomas asked the City Attorney about the status <br />of the Airport Ordinance. Mr. Askins stated that he had <br />talked with Mr. Cliff Hyde, Jr., and had asked for the <br />Airport Advisory Committes' comments and suggestions on <br />the sample ordinance. He further stated that he would <br />be available to work with the Mayor and the Airport <br />Advisory Committee most any day and would bring the <br />recommendations back to the Commission for approval. <br />It was further determined that the lease fees would have <br />to be discussed at a work shop session. <br />(C) It was further determined that the Fire Lane <br />Ordinance, that is under consideration, should be put <br />on the next work shop agenda. <br />+ + + <br />20. EXECUTIVE SESSION - RECESS - Motion by Commissioner <br />Kibodeaux, seconded by Commissioner Price, that the <br />meeting be recessed under Section 2 (e) of Article <br />6252-17-VATS (Personnel Matters).
