APPROVAL OF MINUTES - REGULAR MEETING OF SEPTEMBER 4, <br />1974 - Motion by Commissioner Price, seconded by <br />Commissioner Christensen to approve the minutes of <br />the regular meeting of September 4, 1974, as written. <br />Motion carried by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Christensen, Kibodeaux, <br />Price, and Boyle. <br />NAYS: None. <br />+ + + <br />• <br />5. APPROVAL OF ACCOUNTS PAYABLE - Motion by Commissioner <br />Kibodeaux, seconded by Commissioner Christensen to <br />approve the accounts payable as listed, a copy of which <br />is attached and made a part of these minutes. Motion <br />carried by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Christensen, Kibodeaux, <br />Price, and Boyle. <br />NAYS: None. <br />+ + + <br />6. VISITORS WISHING TO ADDRESS THE COMMISSION - Mayor <br />Thomas asked if the agenda had been posted according <br />to law. The City Clerk affirmed. <br />Mayor Thomas welcomed all the visitors and expressed <br />his appreciation for their presence and invited them <br />back at any time. <br />MR. BILL MC NEAL, ATTORNEY-AT-LAW-REPRESENTING <br />MR. WM. MERTZ - REGARDING LEASE OF AIRPORT PROPERTY - <br />Mr. Bill Mc Neal, Alvin, Texas, was recognized and <br />addressed the Commission in regard to leasing 1/4-acre <br />tract at the La Porte Municipal Airport to Mr. Wm. <br />Mertz. Mr. Mc Neal stated that there had been a <br />previous meeting in the office of Mayor Thomas between <br />Mr. Thrash, his law partner, Mr. Mertz and Mr. Askins, <br />City Attorney, and this 1/4-acre site had been agreed <br />on. <br />• <br />
