• <br />• Regular Meeting 11/18/74 6 <br />13. MEETING RECONVENED - The Regular Commission Meeting <br />reconvened at 7:53 P.M. <br />+ + + <br />14. CORRESPONDENCE - (A) Mayor Thomas read a letter from <br />Mr. Royal Hatch of the Houston Galveston Area Council <br />informing the City that our recent application had been <br />reviewed favorably and a copy of form CG9-99 was attached <br />for completion and forwarding to Dallas. It was determined <br />that the necessary forms had been signed and forwarded. <br />Nothing has been heard in regard to this. This grant is <br />from the F.A.A. <br />(B) A favorable report has been received on the <br />Public Law 92-500 Grant. <br />(C) Mayor Thomas read a letter from Mrs. Paulette Lanier, <br />10414 Rustic Gate, expressing her appreciation to the <br />• Mayor in helping to g.et a problem with her water meter <br />and bill corrected. <br />(D) Mayor Thomas read a letter from Mike Muecke, 1520 <br />Poplarcove, dated November 17, 1974, residing in the <br />Baypoint Townhouses, requesting repair to 8th Street. <br />15. DISCUSSION OF DEPARTMENT PROJECTS - (A) Commissioner <br />Kibodeaux requested the Commission to consider <br />Mrs. Jim Robertson's water bill. Mrs. Robertson had <br />informed Mr. Kibodeaux that she could not pay the bill <br />that the City had agreed to allow her to pay out. The <br />bill was approximately $61.00. Arrangements had been <br />made to allow Mrs. Robertson to pay the bill out at $5.00 <br />per month. Nothing had been paid toward this bill. <br />After a brief discussion regarding the bill, the Commission <br />was of the consensus of opinion that the water should be <br />cut off. <br />+ + + <br />• <br />
