JOINT PUBLIC HEARING - "SPECIAL USE PERMIT" - OUTLOT 1, <br />NEBRASKA SYNDICATE - Mayor Thomas called the Joint <br />Public Hearing with the Planning and Zoning Commission <br />to order to consider a "Special Use Permit" for Outlot 1, <br />Nebraska Syndicate, for Light Industry. <br />It was ascertained that notices to all property owners <br />within 200 feet of the property under consideration <br />were mailed December 18, 1974, and that a public notice <br />of this hearing was published in the official newspaper <br />of the City of La Porte on December 19, 1974. <br />Mayor Thomas stated that Mr. Fred Westergren had requested <br />the "Special Use Permit" for the relocation of Chemlime <br />Corporation. This would be a lime processing system, by <br />taking hydrated lime, mixing with water, to make a liquid. <br />The operation would meet all EPA, Water-Air Pollution, and <br />County Agency requirements. <br />• <br />
