CONSIDER AUTHORIZING ADVERTISING AND RECEIVING BIDS ON <br />MAY 5, 1975, FOR TWO POLICE CARS - Mayor Thomas stated that <br />Chief Freeman was to report back to the Commission regarding <br />information obtained from the three big automobile companies <br />regarding the anti-pollution equipment. <br />Assistant Chif of Police Hall reported that Chief Freeman <br />had not been able to get anyone from the three big automobile <br />companies to commit themselves in regard to the anti-pollution <br />equipment that would be on the 1976 automobiles. <br />Motion by Commissioner Boyle to authorize the advertising <br />and receiving of bids on May 5, 1975, for two police cars. <br />Motion died for lack of a second. <br />+ + + <br />Commissioner Boyle left the meeting at 8:07 P.M. <br />• <br />AYES: Commissioners <br />and Price. <br />NAYS: None. <br />ABSENT: Commissioner <br />13. CALL SPECIAL MEETING FOR APRIL 14, 1975, TO ADMINISTER <br />OATH OF OFFICE TO NEW COMMISSIONERS - Motion by Commissioner <br />Price, seconded by Commissioner Christensen, to call a special <br />meeting for April 14, 1975, at 7:00 P.M. to administer the <br />oath of office to the new commissioners. Motion carried by <br />the following vote: <br />Christensen, Kibodeaux, <br />Boyle. <br />+ + + <br />14. CONSIDER TRANSFERRING FUNDS FROM ONE CATEGORY TO ANOTHER <br />CATEGORY WITHIN THE FIRE DEPARTMENT BUDGET - Motion by <br />Commissioner Christensen, seconded by Commissioner Kibodeaux <br />to accept the recommendation of the Fire Chief and transfer <br />$500.00 from 302, Streets and Taxiways, to 401, Air Conditioning. <br />Motion carried by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Christensen, Kibodeaux, <br />• and Price. <br />NAYS: None. <br />ABSENT: Commissioner Boyle. <br />
