I have here three pictures I would like for you to look at. no.l is from San Jacinto looking east toward the Mayors rent houses. no. 2 is the north ~ of block 23 which the city has just cut. no.3 is the south a of the same block in picture no. 2 (Block 23). From the above information I cannot sea how this City Council can say that the ordinance No.716 is any good and since it has Weser bean enforced in the 20 years it has been an ordinance, I am asking the City to remove same from the records not to try tt~ enforce it. If the above ordinance is enforced it would only hurt the city as far as any developing the arcant lots of the sale of lots for any Huildir to use. I feel that to keep the ordinANCE IN FORCE would be a real bu+~den upon the property owners as the cost of cutting would be prohibiting, At the rate the City has set in this ordinance for cutting as stated ; would cost for cutting a city block X800.00 for just one tisae Plus the additional of recording & releasing the lain when filed, this does not include the additional cost of cutting 3 or 4 times a year. (which could be as much as X3200.00). • I would like to hear from any member of this Council that feel this is a.good ordinance, one that would cost a property owner so much money each year to just keep his property mowed.
