CONSIDER WATER SUPPLY FOR CHEMLINE - Lengthy discussion <br />was held regarding quantity of water needed by Chemline <br />and future water supply of the City. Motion was made by <br />Commissioner Kibodeaux, seconded by Commissioner Cline, <br />against supplying water to Chemline. Motion carried by <br />the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Love, Kibodeaux, Cline, and Boyle. <br />NAYS: None. <br />+ + + <br />18. CORRESPONDENCE - None. <br />+ + + <br />19. DISCUSSION OF DEPARTMENT PROJECTS - Commissioner Love <br />requested approval of payment of $1,000.00 to the <br />Neighborhood Centers, to be paid in two equal payments <br />• in June and July. Motion by Commissioner Love, seconded <br />by Commissioner Kibodeaux, the motion carried by the <br />following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Love, Kibodeaux, Cline, and Boyle. <br />NAYS: None. <br />Commissioner Kibodeaux recommended Al Pena be appointed <br />to appeal to the County for help in securing land for <br />ball parks. <br />Commissioner Kibodeaux stated he had had complaints <br />regarding the clean-up in Crescent View. Mr. Hutchison <br />said he would check into it. <br />Jim Hutchison of Busch-Hutchison and Associates introduced <br />Benny Woods of his firm who is conducting the Smoke Testing <br />Survey. Mr. Woods gave a brief report on this survey, <br />stating that so far he had found no major problems. <br />20. EXECUTIVE SESSION WITH CITY ATTORNEY - VATS - ARTICLE <br />6252-17, SECTION 2 (E) - Motion by Commissioner Cline, <br />seconded by Commissioner Boyle that the meeting recess <br />for an executive session, VATS, Article 6252-17, Section 2 (E). <br />• Motion carried by the following vote: <br />
