APPROVAL OF ACCOUNTS PAYABLE - After a brief discussion, <br />motion by Commissioner Love, seconded by Commissioner <br />Boyle to approve the accounts payable as presented. Motion <br />carried by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Love, Cline and Boyle. <br />NAYS: None. <br />+ + + <br />U <br />9. VISITORS WISHING TO ADDRESS THE COMMISSION - Mayor Pro-Tem <br />Kibodeaux asked if the meeting had been posted according to <br />law? The City Clerk affirmed. <br />MR. JIMMY SPRADLING - 3302 Valley Brook Drive was recognized <br />and addressed the Commission on behalf of the Fairmont Park <br />Homes Association regarding the need for a light at the <br />intersection of Farrington and Fairmont Park. This light <br />had been previously authorized by the City and then cancelled <br />because the County had this light on their schedule. However, <br />it was apparent that it would be some time before the County <br />had plans to have the light installed. <br />A brief discussion followed. Commissioner Cline will study <br />the situation and report back to the Commission with a <br />recommendation. <br />+ + + <br />10. CONSIDER AWARDING BID FOR 16TH STREET WATER LINE - After a <br />brief discussion, motion by Commissioner Cline, seconded by <br />Commissioner Love to accept the recommendation of the <br />Engineer and award the bid for the 16th Street Water Line <br />to Rogers Underground Utilities in the amount of $52,150.00. <br />The Chemetron check in the amount of $20,306.00 has been <br />received for their portion. Motion carried by the following <br />vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Love, Cline, and Boyle. <br />NAYS: None. <br />+ + + <br />• <br />
