CONSIDER APPROVING PAY ESTIMATE N0. 2 TO SMITH ENGINEERING <br />IN THE AMOUNT OF $6,390.00 - LIBRARY EXPANSION - Motion <br />by Commissioner Love, seconded by Commissioner Boyle to <br />approve the Pay Estimate No. 2 to Smith Engineering in <br />the amount of $6,390.00. A copy of Pay Estimate No. 2 <br />is attached and made a part of these minutes. Motion <br />carried by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Love, Cline, and Boyle. <br />NAYS: None. <br />+ + + <br />26. CORRESPONCENCE - Mayor Pro-Tem Kibodeaux stated that the <br />La Porte City Commission was working together to keep <br />the City operating; that it took all four of the Commissioners. <br />THE FOLLOWING MEETINGS WERE ANNOUNCED - <br />A. A meeting of the Harris-Galveston Coastal Subsidence <br />Board would be held October 8, 1975, at 2:00 P.M., <br />• Gulf Coast Waste Disposal Authority, 910 Bay Area <br />Blvd., Clear Lake. <br />B. A luncheon meeting honoring Mr. John White, Regional <br />Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency <br />to be held October 9, 1975, from 12:00 to 1:30 P.M., <br />Old Swiss House, 810 NASA Rd. 1, Clear Lake City. <br />C. A CONCUR Meeting to be held October 8, 1975, at <br />7:30 P.M., Webster City Hall, Webster. <br />+ + + <br />27. DISCUSSION OF DEPARTMENT PROJECTS - Commissioner Love <br />requested the visitors to note that the Commission had <br />dispensed with 27 items on the agenda in less than one <br />hour. <br />ENGINEERING REPORT - The Engineer presented a copy of an <br />old letter from the Air National Guard regarding their <br />sewer service. The cost estimates for the sewer line <br />will be forth coming. A copy of the letter is attached <br />and made a part of these minutes. <br /> <br />
