CONSIDER AWARDING BID FOR 1976 PICK-UP TRUCKS - Motion by <br />Commissioner Cline, seconded by Commissioner Boyle to <br />accept the recommendation of the Public Works Director and <br />award the bid for two 1976 Pick -Up Trucks to the low bidder <br />Lumus Baytown Dodge in the amount of $3,507.00 each. Motion <br />carried by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Love, Cline, and Boyle. <br />NAYS: None. <br />14. CONSIDER APPROVING ORDINANCE NO. 1024 APPOINTING A MUNICIPAL <br />COURT CLERK - After the proposed ordinance was read in full, <br />motion by Commissioner Boyle, seconded by Commissioner Love <br />to adopt Ordinance No. 1024 as read. Motion carried by the <br />following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Love, Cline, and Boyle. <br />NAYS: None. <br />CAPTION: AN ORDINANCE <br />FOR THE TERM <br />AN EFFECTIVE <br />APPOINTING A <br />ENDING APRIL <br />DATE HEREOF. <br />MUNICIPAL COURT CLERK <br />30, 1976; AND PROVIDING <br />15. CONSIDER ORDINANCE NO. 1025 - INTENTION TO DEANNEX CERTAIN <br />PROPERTY - As the proposed ordinance was read in full, the <br />Engineer pointed out the property to be deannexed. Mayor <br />Pro -Tem Kibodeaux explained that the property was being <br />deannexed at the request of Lomax, who could furnish water and <br />sewer service to the area and La Porte could not, nor did we <br />know how long it might be before utility service could be <br />available. <br />Motion by Commissioner Boyle, seconded by Commissioner Cline <br />to adopt Ordinance No. 1025 as read. Motion carried by the <br />following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Love, Cline, and Boyle. <br />NAYS: None. <br />
