APPROVAL OF ACCOUNTS PAYABLE - There was a brief discussion <br />regarding a partial payment to Singer Layne Texas in the <br />amount of $21,319.65, for Water Well No. 5. <br />Motion by Commissioner Cline, seconded by Commissioner <br />Boyle to approve the Accounts Payable as presented and <br />add the payment of $21,319.65 to Singer Layne Texas. <br />Motion carried by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Love, Cline, and Boyle. <br />NAYS: None. <br />7. VISITORS WISHING TO ADDRESS THE COMMISSION - The Mayor <br />Pro-Tem asked if the meeting had been posted according <br />to law? The City Clerk affirmed. <br />There were no visitors wishing to address the Commission. <br />8. DISCUSSION WITH MR. BILL MC CLELLAN OF HARRIS COUNTY <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AGENCY REGARDING COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT <br />FUNDS - Mr. Bill McClellan was recognized and addressed the <br />Commission regarding community development and subsidized <br />housing. After a lenghty discussion, Mr. McClellan requested <br />that if the Commission had any interest that a letter of <br />interest be mailed to him before December 15, 1975. <br />Motion by Commissioner Cline, seconded by Commissioner <br />Boyle that a letter of interest be mailed to the Harris <br />County Community Development Agency. The item would then <br />be placed on the agenda for the next workshop for further <br />discussion. Motion carried by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Cline and Boyle, and Mayor Pro-Tem <br />Kibodeaux. <br />NAYS: Commissioner Love. <br />
