He stated in <br />his opinion that the balance sheets and the related <br />statements of changes in the balances of the funds listed <br />presented fairly the financial position of the City of <br />La Porte, Texas, as of September 30, 1975, and the results <br />of its operation for the fiscal year then ended, in <br />conformity with generally accepted accounting principles <br />as applied to municipalities on a modified accrual basis. <br />4 <br />Motion by Commissioner Love, seconded by Commissioner Cline <br />to accept the Audit for the fiscal year ending September 30, <br />1975. Motion carried by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Love, Cline, and Boyle. <br />NAYS: None. <br />+ + + <br />• 10. RATIFY AUTHORIZING MAYOR PRO-TEM TO SIGN ADDENDUM NO. I <br />FOR B.O.R. GRANT - Motion by Commissioner Love, seconded <br />by Commissioner Cline to ratify authorizing the Mayor Pro- <br />Tem to sign Addendum No. I for the B.O.R. Grant. A copy <br />of the Addendum is attached and made a part of these minutes. <br />Motion carried by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Love, Cline, and Boyle. <br />NAYS: None. <br />+ + + <br />11. CONSIDER APPROVING ESTIMATE NO. 5 - SMITH ENGINEERING COMPANY - <br />IN THE AMOUNT OF $13,932.00 FOR ADDITIONS AND ALTERATIONS TO <br />THE LIBRARY - Motion by Commissioner Love, seconded by <br />Commissioner Boyle to approve Estimate No. 5 to Smith Engineering <br />Company in the amount of $13,932.00.
