CORRESPONDENCE - <br />AGREEMENT WITH COUNTY FOR RURAL FIRE PROTECTION - Motion by <br />Commissioner Boyle, secon e y Commissioner Cline to authorize <br />the Mayor and City Clerk to sign the agreement with Harris <br />County for rural fire protection. A copy of said agreement is <br />attached and made a part of these minutes. Motion carried by <br />the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Love, Cline, and Boyle. <br />NAYS: None. <br />+ + + <br />17. CONSIDER APPROVING LEASE FOR BUILDING FOR LA PORTE WELFARE <br />DEPARTMENT - Motion by Commissioner Cline, seconded by <br />Commissioner Love to approve the lease for the building <br />for the La Porte Welfare Department. A copy of the lease <br />is attached and made a part of these minutes. Motion carried <br />• by the following vote: - <br />AYES: Commissioners Love and Cline; Mayor P.ro Tem Kibodeaux. <br />NAYS: None. <br />Commissioner Boyle was temporarily absent from the room. <br />+ + + <br />18. DISCUSSION OF DEPARTMENT PROJECTS - There was a brief <br />discussion regarding the need for storage for automobiles <br />which were picked up by the Police Department. Consideration <br />will be given to moving these automobiles from the water tower <br />to the area around the sewage plant. <br />+ + + <br />• <br />
