• Regular Meeting 6/7/76 <br />6. ACCEPT BIDS - CONSTRUCTION OF RECREATIONAL FACILITIES AT <br />FAIRMONT PARK (CONTINUED <br />Motion by Commissioner Love, seconded by Commissioner <br />Kibodeaux that the bids be accepted for tabulation, <br />Motion carried by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Love, Kibodeaux, and Simons. <br />NAYS: None. <br />5 <br />7. APPROVAL OF MINUTES - REGULAR MEETING - MAY 17, 1976 - <br />Motion by Commissioner Love, seconded by Commissioner Simons <br />that the minutes of the regular meeting of May 17, 1976, be <br />approved as presented. Motion carried by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Love, Kibodeaux, and Simons. <br />NAYS: None. <br />8. APPROVAL OF ACCOUNTS PAYABLE - Motion by Commissioner Kibodeaux, <br />seconded by Commissioner Simons that the accounts payable be <br />approved as presented. A copy is attached and made a part of <br />these minutes. Motion carried by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Love, Kibodeaux, and Simons. <br />NAYS: None. <br />9. VISITORS WISHING TO ADDRESS THE COMMISSION - Mrs. Eugenia <br />Riley was recognized and addressed the commission regarding <br />the need of a building to help accommodate the needs of the <br />senior citizens. <br />Mr. Jim Fonteno, County Commissioner, was recognized and informed <br />the Commission that County work would be begun soon on 16th Street. <br />0 <br />
