APPROVAL OF MINUTES - REGULAR MEETING - JULY 7, 1976 - <br />Motion by Commissioner Cline, seconded by Commissioner <br />Kibodeaux to approve the minutes of the regular meeting <br />of July 7, 1976, as presented. Motion carried by the <br />following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Love, Kibodeaux, and Cline. <br />NAYS: None. <br />+ + + <br />4. APPROVAL OF ACCOUNTS PAYABLE - Motion by Commissioner Cline, <br />seconded by Commissioner Kibodeaux to approve the Accounts <br />Payable as presented. A copy is attached and made a part of <br />these minutes. Motion carried by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Love, Kibodeaux, and Cline. <br />NAYS: None. <br />• <br />+ + + <br />5. VISITORS WISHING TO ADDRESS THE COMMISSION - MR. H. CARLOS <br />SMITH - 1003 East D Street - was recognize and addressed <br />the Commission regarding the need for a traffic light at "G" <br />and Broadway; permanent improvement for streets and widening <br />Broadway from "G" Street. <br />It was determined that the State would be responsible for the <br />signalization of "G" and Broadway; consideration might be given <br />for possible assessment paving program for the City. <br />-0- <br />MR. J. H. SMITH - 711 North 12th Street - was recognized <br />and addressed the Commission regarding the policy for citizens <br />addressing the Commission at regular meetings or work shops <br />as well as the policy for the use of Police cars. <br />It was determined that that City cars were used for City <br />related business. <br />+ + + <br />• <br />
