• <br />Regular Meeting - 3/7/77 2 <br />• 2. INVOCATION - The invocation was given by Mayor Meza. <br />+ + + <br />3. HEARING ON REVENUE SHARING BUDGET - The hearing on the Revenue <br />Sharing Budget was called to order by Mayor Meza. The Director <br />of Finance, Larry Broussard, was asked to, explain the proposed <br />budget for the benefit of the audience. After explanation of <br />the proposed budget, Mayor Meza asked for any comments for or <br />against the proposed budget from persons in the audience. There <br />being no comments from the audience, motion by Commissioner <br />Simons, seconded by Commissioner Kibodeaux to approve the <br />Revenue Sharing Budget, income of $277,586.14 and capital <br />outlay for new City Hall of $277,586.14. A copy of this <br />Revenue Sharing Budget is attached and made a part of these <br />minutes. Motion carried by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Love, Kibodeaux, Cline, and Simons. <br />NAYS: None. <br />+ + + <br />• 4. APPROVAL OF MINUTES - REGULAR MEETING - FEBRUARY 22, 1977 - <br />This item has been tabled until the regular meeting of March 21, <br />1977. <br />+ + + <br />5. APPROVAL OF ACCOUNTS PAYABLE - Motion by Commissioner Cline, <br />seconded by Commissioner Love to approve the accounts payable <br />as presented. A copy of which is attached and made a part of <br />these minutes. Motion carried by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Love, Kibodeaux, Cline, and Simons. <br />NAYS: None. <br />+ + + <br />6. VISITORS WISHING TO ADDRESS THE COMMISSION - Mrs. Jean Williams <br />addressed the Commission on the need for a portable building in <br />which to store donated books until the library sale dates. The <br />Commission stated that at an earlier meeting the Commission had <br />agreed to pay for storage at one of the mini-warehouses. <br />• + + + <br />
