CONSIDER APPROVING RESOLUTION NO. 77-4 AUTHORIZING PARTICIPATION <br />WITH HOUSTON-GALVESTON AREA COUNCIL FOR HIGH SPEED VIDEO TELE- <br />COMMUNICATIONS TERMINALS SYSTEM - Motion by Commissioner Simons, <br />seconded by Commissioner Kibodeaux to approve Resolution No. <br />77-4. A copy of the resolution is attached and made a part of <br />these minutes. Motion carried by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Love, Kibodeaux, Cline, and Simons. <br />NAYS: None. <br />17. CONSIDER AUTHORIZING ADVERTISING FOR BIDS FOR WATER AND <br />SEWER LINES FOR BLOCKS 72 AND 45, BAY FRONT, TO BE RECEIVED <br />ON MAY 2, 1977, AT 7:00 P.M. - Motion by Commissioner <br />Kibodeaux, seconded by Commissioner Cline to authorize <br />advertising and accepting bids for water and sewer lines <br />for Blocks 72 and 45, Bay Front, to be received on May 2, <br />1977, at 7:00 P.M. Motion carried by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Love, Kibodeaux, Cline, and Simons. <br />NAYS: None. <br />18. CONSIDER CALLING SPECIAL COMMISSION MEETING FOR APRIL 11, 1977, <br />TO INDUCT NEW OFFICIALS INTO OFFICE - Since a hearing was <br />scheduled for 7:00 P.M. on April 11, 1977, motion by Commissioner <br />Love, seconded by Commissioner Kibodeaux to call a special <br />Commission Meeting for April 11, 1977, beginning at 6:30 P.M. <br />to induct new officials into office. Motion carried by the <br />following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Love, Kibodeaux, Cline, and Simons. <br />NAYS: None. <br />19. CORRESPONDENCE - A letter from the City of Shoreacres <br />requesting a letter of intent from the City to supply <br />surface water. A copy is attached and made a part of these <br />minutes. <br />
